Performance Metrics

Your dashboard displays key performance metrics for each of your gigs, helping you understand how they're performing and which ones are attracting the most interest.

1Understanding Metrics
Metric Description Why It Matters
Views The number of times your gig has been viewed Indicates how many people are seeing your gig
Likes The number of users who have liked your gig Shows interest level and potential customer engagement
Last Updated When you last made changes to your gig Helps you keep track of when information might need refreshing
Status Whether your gig is active or inactive Indicates if your gig is visible to potential customers
2Detailed Analytics

For more detailed analytics about your gig's performance:

  1. Click on the "Stats" or "Analytics" link on a gig card (if available)
  2. View detailed information about views over time, user engagement, and more

For more information on understanding and using metrics, see our Metrics Guide.

Pro Tip

Compare metrics across your gigs to identify what works best. If one gig is getting significantly more views or likes, consider what makes it more appealing and apply those elements to your other gigs.

Gig Status

Managing the status of your gigs is an important part of maintaining your presence on Linkyoh. You can control whether each gig is visible to potential customers.

1Status Types
Active

When a gig is active:

  • It appears in search results
  • It's visible in category listings
  • Users can find and interact with it
  • It can receive views, likes, and inquiries
Inactive

When a gig is inactive:

  • It doesn't appear in search results
  • It's hidden from category listings
  • The URL still works if someone has it saved
  • It can still be viewed, but won't attract new customers
2When to Change Status
Scenario Recommended Status Why
You're currently available for work Active Makes your services visible to potential customers
You're temporarily unavailable (vacation, fully booked, etc.) Inactive Prevents inquiries when you can't take on new work
You're updating your gig information Inactive (temporarily) Prevents customers from seeing incomplete information
You no longer offer this service Inactive or Delete Removes services you no longer provide
Pro Tip

Instead of deactivating a gig when you're temporarily unavailable, consider updating the description to indicate your availability timeline. This keeps your gig visible and lets potential customers know when you'll be available again.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can create as many gigs as you want on Linkyoh. However, we recommend focusing on quality over quantity. It's better to have a few well-crafted, detailed gigs than many incomplete or low-quality ones.

Deactivating a gig:

  • Hides it from search results and category listings
  • Keeps the gig in your dashboard
  • Allows you to reactivate it later
  • Preserves all gig data, metrics, and history

Deleting a gig:

  • Permanently removes the gig from Linkyoh
  • Cannot be undone
  • Removes all associated data and metrics
  • Frees up the title and content for use in new gigs

Metrics like views and likes can fluctuate for several reasons:
  • System updates or data corrections
  • Removal of spam or bot activity
  • Users unliking a previously liked gig
  • Temporary reporting delays or glitches
If you notice a significant unexplained decrease, please contact our support team.

Currently, gigs are displayed in order of creation date, with the newest gigs appearing first. We're working on adding sorting and filtering options to the dashboard in future updates to make it easier to manage multiple gigs.

To increase views and engagement:
  • Use clear, descriptive titles with relevant keywords
  • Add high-quality images that showcase your services
  • Provide detailed descriptions of what you offer
  • Keep your gig information up-to-date
  • Add multiple service areas to reach more customers
  • Share your gig links on social media or with your network
  • Respond promptly to inquiries to build a good reputation
