Account & Profile
Creating an account on Linkyoh is simple:
- Click the "Register" button in the top-right corner of any page
- Fill out the registration form with your name, email, and password
- Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your profile by adding a profile picture and additional information
Once registered, you can immediately start browsing services or create your own gig listings.
To update your profile information:
- Log in to your Linkyoh account
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu
- Click the "Edit Profile" button
- Update your information in the form
- Click "Save Changes" when you're done

To change your password:
- Log in to your Linkyoh account
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner
- Select "Password Change" from the dropdown menu
- Enter your current password
- Enter your new password twice to confirm
- Click "Change Password"
If you've forgotten your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it.
Yes, you can delete your account, but please note that this action is permanent and will remove all your gigs and profile information from Linkyoh.
To delete your account:
- Contact our support team through the Contact Us page
- Include your username and the email address associated with your account
- Specify that you want to delete your account
Our team will process your request and confirm when your account has been deleted.
Verifying your phone number provides several benefits:
- Adds an extra layer of security to your account
- Helps build trust with potential customers
- Allows us to contact you if there are issues with your account or gigs
- Verified accounts are often seen as more trustworthy and legitimate
To verify your phone number, go to your profile settings and look for the "Verify Phone" option.
Creating & Managing Gigs
To create a new gig:
- Log in to your Linkyoh account
- Click the "Post a Gig" button in the navigation bar
- Fill out the gig creation form with all required information
- Add images, contact information, and service areas (optional)
- Click "Publish Gig" to make your gig live

You can create as many gigs as you want on Linkyoh. There is no limit to the number of services you can list.
However, we recommend focusing on quality over quantity. It's better to have a few well-crafted, detailed gigs than many incomplete or low-quality ones. Each gig should represent a specific service you offer.
To edit an existing gig:
- Go to your dashboard by clicking on your profile picture and selecting "My Gigs"
- Find the gig you want to edit
- Click the "Edit" button (pencil icon) on the gig card
- Make your changes in the edit form
- Click "Save Changes" to update your gig
We recommend regularly updating your gigs with fresh information, new photos, or updated pricing to keep them relevant and attractive to potential customers.
Deactivating a gig:
- Hides it from search results and category listings
- Keeps the gig in your dashboard
- Allows you to reactivate it later
- Preserves all gig data, metrics, and history
Deleting a gig:
- Permanently removes the gig from Linkyoh
- Cannot be undone
- Removes all associated data and metrics
We recommend deactivating gigs if you're temporarily unavailable or updating information, and only deleting gigs you no longer offer at all.
To increase views and engagement for your gigs:
- Use clear, descriptive titles with relevant keywords
- Add high-quality images that showcase your services
- Provide detailed descriptions of what you offer
- Keep your gig information up-to-date
- Add multiple service areas to reach more customers
- Share your gig links on social media or with your network
- Respond promptly to inquiries to build a good reputation

Searching & Browsing
There are several ways to search for services on Linkyoh:
- Quick Search: Use the search bar at the top of any page to search by keyword
- Category Browsing: Click on a category in the navigation bar to browse services by category
- Advanced Search: Use the search page with filters for category, location, and price range

To filter search results:
- Perform a search using the search bar or by clicking on a category
- On the search results page, you'll see filter options in the sidebar
- Filter by category, subcategory, district, location, or price range
- The results will update automatically as you apply filters
- To remove a filter, click the "Clear" button next to it or select a different option
You can combine multiple filters for more precise results. For example, you can search for "plumbers" in "Belize City" with prices between "$50" and "$100".
You can save services you're interested in by "liking" them:
- Log in to your Linkyoh account
- Navigate to the gig you want to save
- Click the heart icon on the gig card or gig detail page
- The heart will turn solid to indicate you've liked the gig
To view your liked gigs later, go to your profile and look for the "Liked Gigs" or "Favorites" section.
If you're not seeing any results for your search, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Use more general search terms (e.g., "plumber" instead of "bathroom plumber")
- Remove some filters that might be too restrictive
- Check if you've selected a location where the service might not be available
- Try searching by category instead of keywords
- Check your spelling for any errors
If you still can't find what you're looking for, it's possible that no service providers in that category are currently listed on Linkyoh in your area.
To find services in your specific area:
- Perform a search for the type of service you need
- On the search results page, look for the location filters in the sidebar
- First select your district from the "District" dropdown
- Then select your specific location from the "Location" dropdown
- The results will update to show only services available in your selected area
You can also include your location in the search term, such as "plumber Belize City" or "electrician San Pedro".
Payments & Pricing
Yes, it is completely free to create an account and list your services on Linkyoh. There are no fees for:
- Creating a user account
- Setting up your profile
- Creating and publishing gigs
- Receiving inquiries from potential customers
Linkyoh is a platform that connects service providers with customers, and we do not charge any commission or fees for this connection.
When creating or editing a gig, you have two options for pricing:
- Set a specific price: Enter the cost of your service in the "Price" field. This is good for services with standard pricing.
- Call for pricing: Check the "Call for pricing" option if your pricing varies based on the specific job. This is good for services where you need to assess the work before providing a quote.
Tips for effective pricing:
- Research what similar services charge in your area
- Consider your experience, expertise, and the quality of your service
- Be transparent about what is included in your price
- If you offer different service levels or packages, mention this in your description
No, Linkyoh does not currently handle payments between customers and service providers. All payment arrangements are made directly between you and your customers.
This means:
- You can accept whatever payment methods work best for you and your customers
- You are responsible for collecting payment for your services
- You should clearly communicate your payment terms and accepted methods to your customers
We recommend discussing payment details with customers before beginning any work to avoid misunderstandings.
Currently, Linkyoh offers featured listing opportunities for select gigs. Featured gigs receive increased visibility on the platform, including placement on the homepage and at the top of category listings.
Featured gigs are selected by our admin team based on several factors:
- Completeness and quality of the gig listing
- Professional presentation with high-quality images
- Positive customer feedback and engagement
- Consistent activity and responsiveness
If you're interested in having your gig featured, focus on creating a complete, professional listing and providing excellent service. You can also contact our support team to inquire about featured opportunities.
Technical Issues
If you're having trouble uploading images to your gig, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check image format: Make sure your images are in a supported format (JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF)
- Check image size: Images should be less than 5MB in size
- Try a different browser: Sometimes browser issues can affect uploads
- Clear your browser cache: Cached data can sometimes cause upload problems
- Check your internet connection: A stable connection is needed for uploads
